Early Years KG1 – KG2 Curriculum and Approach

Our KG Curriculum is inspired by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), the most innovative and internationally acclaimed teaching pedagogy from around the world. EYFS sets standards for the learning, development, and care of children from birth to their early years. The four aims of EYFS embedded in the BRS teaching learning approach are Quality and Consistency, Secure Foundation, Partnership Working and Equality of Opportunity.

Our teachers and faculty follow a common set of principles and commitments to deliver quality education and childcare experiences to all students. The EYFS framework instills a sense of confidence and reliance in parents reassuring them that the statutory commitments and principles will support and nurture their child’s learning and developmental experiences in our school.

The seven areas of learning and development which guide professional engagement for each student are as follows:

  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
  • Personal, Social and Emotional Development
  • Literacy Skills
  • Mathematical and Numerical Skills
  • Knowledge and Understanding of the world
  • Development of Creative and Expressional Skills

These seven areas are specifically implemented in the day-to-day classroom routine to cater to the needs of young children. Our professionally trained and experienced staff ensure that your child has a thorough and holistic environment to learn and succeed in.

At BRS, we believe in providing an optimal balance of both scholastic and co-scholastic subject areas from KG itself. Along with the EYFS learning areas, we offer to all our students:
