Important
  • As per the CBSE scheme of studies, the Senior Secondary Phase (Grades 11 and 12) is a two-year program.
  • The subject combination selected by students will be registered with the CBSE in October 2026, while they are in Grade 11, and once their choice of subjects is registered, a change of subject combinations is not permitted by the CBSE in Grade 12
  • Students will be permitted to change either single subjects or whole combinations within 4 working weeks of their commencement of Grade 11, provided they meet the eligibility criteria for the requested combination of subjects.

Parents are reminded that for academic success, subject combinations must be selected after a clear understanding of the requirements for Higher Education courses. It is strongly recommended that students are guided to choose subjects according to their aptitude rather than out of peer pressure or because their friends are choosing those subjects.

Note:

  • English is a compulsory subject in all combinations.

  • You are required to indicate your subject combinations in order of preference (Ranked 1 to 3)

  • Ideally, a minimum of 3 students is required to start a class in an elective subject.

  • It is recommended that you list only those subject combinations or preferences for which your child meets the eligibility criteria.
